ABSTRACT
Woody plants and mixtures of woody plants or woody plants with herbaceous weeds present special problems on grazing lands, forested areas, rights-of-way, and other noncrop areas. Woody plants are sometimes very difficult to manage because of their large size, resistance to treatment, perennial nature, vigor, and sometimes rapid growth.
