ABSTRACT
Several nonconventional machining processes such as electro chemical machining and electropolishing are based on the principle of electrochemical metal removal [1,2]. These pro cesses involve controlled metal dissolution from a workpiece that constitutes the anode in an electrolytic cell. Some of the unique features of these methods include their ability to ma chine complex features and complicated contours without ma chining marks, burrs, or surface stresses.
