ABSTRACT
The followings methods can be used to prevent the gun phenomenon. (1) Prevent an increase in steam pressure, releasing steam through the spaces between the grains by making the agent granular. (2) Reduce the amount of free water. Obtain a significantly lower water to agent ratio by adjusting the particle size distribution of the agent. (3) To increase the friction between the agent and the side wall of the hole, by adding hardening materials.
