ABSTRACT

Abstract Major parts of the recycling of buildings are the dismantling procedures for different types of buildings, recycling techniques for the materials from dismantling and the reuse options for the recycled materials. They are interdependent in terms of costs, quality standards for materials and practical realisation so that the management of building waste has to consider the entire structure of the problem from dismantling to reuse. Thus, planning tools for the developement of integrated concepts for the recycling and reuse of buildings are required.
