Avoidance of early age thermal cracking in concrete structures - predesign, measures, follow-up

The simulation procedures have frequentiy been used in Sweden for obtaming crack-free concrete in massive structures (such as bridge piers, tunnels, foundations) as well as thinner structures (basin walls, bridge girders etc.). Precalculations of cracking risks are performed for structures during design and planning of construction.
