ABSTRACT
Oil will be produced from the Harding Field using a heavy-duty steel jack up platform built on a novel concrete gravity storage base which provides support and also stores the oil produced. Oil will be pumped from the storage unit to the tanker via a flexible pipe coiling up to the loading buoy which acts as a valve. During loading the buoy fits into a cavity in the ship's hull.
