1Introduction

Compositeconstructionhasbeenwidelyusedforbuilding,bridgeandoff-shore structuresformanyyears.Thecompositeactiongeneratedbymetaldeckingflooris fullyresearchedandutilisedinthedesignforsaggingandhoggingareasofcomposite beamsandslabs[l,2].Thebenefitgainedisfromusingthecompositeactionfor decreasingthecostofthestructure.Butuseofthebehavioursofthecomposite connectionsinstructuredesignneedsfurtherresearchattention.
