ABSTRACT
In this section we discuss certain specific details of the damage in concrete structures that may result from different types of steel corrosion in concrete. This treatment is by necessity quite incomplete, and we hope that readers having responsibility for design and construction of reinforced concrete structures take every available opportunity to examine the results of corrosion in the field so as to improve their ability to recognize and evaluate the importance of such damage as it occurs in practice.
