ABSTRACT

Abstract A classification of the organic fluids with respect to the tightnes of concrete has been established. This classification relies on the molecular structure of the organic fluid. Using group contribution methods, it was possible to estimate the viscosity, the surface tension and the aqueous solubility of the organic fluid. These three parameters which can be correlated with the transport in the concrete and the chemical attack of the con crete, are the basis of the classification. Keywords: Concrete, organic fluid, surface tension, viscosity, chemical attack, classifi cation.
