ABSTRACT
Plant cell walls contain different types of hydroxyproline-rich glycoproteins. These proteins show extensive modifications when pathogens try to penetrate the plant cell wall, and these modified HRGPs offer resistance to pathogens. The role of HRGPs in disease resistance is described in this chapter.
