ABSTRACT
Fresh and frozen steamed buns are very popular in Japan, Korea, China, and Southeast Asian countries. Currently in China, people in the city still buy more unpacked fresh steamed bread, buns, and rolls than the packed and chilled or frozen ones simply because the packed ones are more expensive. However, as the living standard continues to improve, the consumption of packed chilled or frozen steamed bread, buns, and rolls will continue to increase steadily.
