ABSTRACT
Dialog boxes are common occurrences in most Windows applications. They are how input is obtained from the user and messages are shown to the user, thus the term "dialog." A dialog box is actually a window, but they are created using a WYSIWYG editor much like the resource editors discussed in Chapter 7.
