ABSTRACT

SUMMARY. People are the most important asset for a service firm. Internships could be used as a good source for identifying potential talent in hospitality finns. Internship experiences could be used for creating memorable experiences as an employee and as a potential customer. The study assesses internship experiences of interns in UK and India. Internship experiences have been compared on content of the training, mentorship, hygiene factors, rewards and recognition. A model for managing internship experiences for interns in hospitality industry is suggested.
