ABSTRACT
The currently available technology of particleboards fabrication, widely employed nowadays in the building industry and furniture manufacturing is based on the application of phenol-formaldehyde or carbamide-formaldehyde resins as binders. Under operating conditions, a gaseous substance with a neuroparalytic effect, formaldehyde, emanates from these particleboards. Therefore the employment of such articles in dwellings is prohibited.
