3.1 Primality and functional completeness
Historically, primal algebras were first introduced as particular algebraic versions (called Post algebras) of multiple valued logics, analogous to Boolean algebras as an algebraic version of classical two valued logic. We will briefly discuss Post algebras and their development in Section 3.1.2 below.
