ABSTRACT
A m o n g heterocyclic compounds, the derivatives of furazan, furoxane, and tetrazole are distinguished by their energetic characteristics. It is precisely the combination of these highly endothermic heterocycles with the ordinary explosive groups ( N 0 2 , N 3 , N N 0 2 , etc.) that, in principle, can provide the creation of new powerful explosives. The polymer compounds o f a polyvinylmethyltetrazole type were also considered as prospective plastic binders o f solid rocket propellants.
