ABSTRACT
Nitroesters belong to one o f the most widely used classes o f organic compounds employed in explosives and powders. For example, nitroglycerin and cellulose nitrate are among them. At the same time, a relatively low thermal stability and compatibility with the other components is a serious difficulty for their commercial use in various compositions, especially i f high-temperature action is required. The thermal decomposition of nitroesters is considered in detail in [9.1-9.5].
