ABSTRACT
Abstract This paper describes the objective of the analysis of fresh concrete and specifies a lot of testing procedures. Many of them are well suited as rapid tests for quality assurance. But no particular test nor any combination is able to varify all important components of a single concrete batch by type and mass in a short time and with a sufficient accuracy. Some laboratory test methods e.g. X-ray Fluorescence or X-ray diffraction may give further information but not for on-line verification and engage ment during the mixing process.
