ABSTRACT
Production of mass concrete has to take account of specific technological and eco nomic conditions and therefore it has always been an incentive to dam constructors to obtain a concrete quality as uniform as possible. Only a uniform concrete qua lity allows to meet the various and often contrasting requirements (strength, heat generation, durability, machines workability). To obtain a homogeneous concrete, optimal components and their exact batching and blending at the mixing plant must be assured.
