ABSTRACT
Water in all its phases possesses many anomalous properties, which also affect the properties of a porous material. Therefore, there are various methods for determining moisture content in porous materials and various moisture meters. The measuring methods can be classified into two basic groups:
• Absolute methods (or direct methods), which determine the actual water content in the material after its removal from the specimen (by drying, extraction).
