ABSTRACT
Nitride ceramics are among leading candidates for structural applications, e.g. heat exchangers, although in many such applications, the ceramic components need to be joined. Ceramic joining techniques have been under development over the last forty years and the commercial use of these techniques enables the production of more complex shapes than presently can be achieved in monolithic ceramics.
