ABSTRACT
Several authors [1, 2, 3, 4] have been studying a new development for the nucleonnucleon (NN) interaction: the derivation of a low-momentum NN potential Vlow_k using renormalization group decimation methods. It is a great pleasure for me (TTSK) to make a report on their work. Before I start, let me first thank the organizers, particularly Prof. HansVolker Klapdor-Kleingrothaiis, for inviting me to this excellent conference. The seashore city Oulu is a truely beautiful place.
