ABSTRACT
Both on-line and off-line solid-phase extraction coupled to LCTSP-MS were used for environmental monitoring of a series of nitrogen and phosphorus-containing pesticides [25,26]. The authors devised a multiresidue method for 51 selected compounds whose SIM detection limits varied between 40 and 600 pg injected on-column, which is equivalent to less than 100 ng/liter in drinking water. Furthermore, source and vaporizer temperature and postcolumn online derivatization, carried out by adding various alkilated amines to the eluent, were used to enhance the structure and molecular-mass information from the TSP spectra.
