ABSTRACT
As Farkas et al. [60] have shown, the stationary phase polarity increases only slightly upon cross-linking OV-1 with y-radiation; the calculated invariant retention indexes of polar analytes, I 0i, noncross-linked and cross-linked OV-1 differ on average by !::..Ioi 0.4 IU (index units), and they are systematically higher on cross-linked OV-1.
