ABSTRACT
After the initial proposal, an engineer's report is prepared and approval must be given to the estimated expenditure. Sewerage schemes prepared by a local authority will be subject to the approval of the Water Authority and will form a part of that Authority's Capital Works Programme. It is usual to prepare the estimates, reports, drawings, etc., with that in mind.
