ABSTRACT
CONTRACTS and site organization, particularly the supervision of civil engineering works, are dealt with very fully in a book by Twort (76]. This chapter stresses some of the points made in that book, draws on the author's own experience as a resident engineer, and makes reference to the various codes of practice and other relevant publications.
