ABSTRACT
The desirability of establishing accurate standards on maintenance work economically should be apparent. Good standards are needed for planning, scheduling, and cost control. And since maintenance continually requires a greater proportion of the total cost of operation of an enterprise, it is important that the maintenance function become as efficient as possible.
