ABSTRACT
4.1 Introduction
The investigation of systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom and impulsive perturbations is a new direction in nonlinear dynamics. These systems model satisfactorily many processes and phenomena in which change of the process properties occurs suddenly at some fixed instants of time. The model of clocks is a simple classical example of system of the kind.
