Anyway, much literature already is available on conventional gaskets, static 0rings, and sealants, so we'll limit this chapter to the unusual types. Examples are hollow metal 0-rings, penetrating metal seals, captive plastic seals, liquid gaskets, and large spliced gaskets. See Figs. 22.1 and 22.2 for examples.
