ABSTRACT
This chapter will concentrate on the following concepts: typical problems in attaining accuracies in measurements; special lab instruments (such as digital oscilloscopes and virtual displays); remote testing; standard test procedures for measuring flow, torque, power, pressure (including pressure fatigue tests), hose abuse, and in-fluid contaminants; and special-purpose test stands of various sorts.
