ABSTRACT
This chapter describes speci fic Best M an agem en t Pract ices (BMPs) for common industrial activit ies that may contaminate storm water. The suggested BMPs are relat ively easy to use, are inexpensive, and of ten are ef fect ive in removing the source of storm water contaminants. This chapter does not present a complete listing of BMPs for every indus tr ial activity; rather , it is meant to help facili ty owners and operators implement d i f fe ren t methods for reducing storm water contaminat ion at the facili ty site.
