co n ta in s co m p lex co n s titu en ts w ith co lor, h ig h C hem ica l O x y g en D em an d
(C O D ) and a ch arac te ris tic odor. I f no t ad eq u ate ly trea ted , th e d isch arg e o f
p h o to p ro cess in g w astew ate r w ill cau se a se rious en v iro n m en ta l p o llu tio n
p ro b lem . B io lo g ica l trea tm en t is cu rren tly used fo r trea tin g p h o to p ro ce ss in g
w astew ate r w ith sa tisfac to ry resu lts [1-7]. B ut it m ay be d ifficu lt to be
im p lem en ted fo r reg u la r p h o to shops. A lte rna tive ly , th e o x id a tio n m e th o d
usin g air, h y d ro g en p e ro x id e o r F en to n 's reag en t can be le ss ex p e n siv e and
easily ap p lied fo r th e se shops. T h is research has b een ca rried o u t in th ree
