ABSTRACT
A 2-year-old healthy girl is referred to a dermatologist by her pediatrician for evaluation of acne, increasing in distribution over approximately 4 months. In addition to the acne, the dermatologist elicits a history of adult body odor and finds pubic hair on physical examination. Virilization is diagnosed and the patient is referred to an endocrinologist.
