ABSTRACT
At the California Environmental Health 1985 convention, M . Vinatieri* stated that in his county about 600 septic systems are designed by perk consultants and installed annually, and that 30% fail after two to three years. His words are echoed through much of the nation, as few institutions train and certify or license perk consultants.
