ABSTRACT
The incompatibility of gasoline components is often the reason for a decrease in resistance to oxidation processes taking place in the gasoline blend; the resulting lower values of induction period indicate formation of free radicals R00, which are precursors to gum formation. This situation occurs when threshold concentrations or naturally present or artificially added oxidation inhibitors (antioxidants) are lower than required.
