ABSTRACT
A variety o f molecules have been identified in blood plasma that exhibit lipocalin-like properties, but they do not seem to be functionally related. This review is restricted to four o f these lipocalins: α i-acid glycoprotein (AGP), apolipoprotein D (apoD), apolipoprotein M (apoM) and complement protein C8y (C8y).
