Integriti Expression in the Developing Kidney A survey of integrin expression in the different com ponent tissues o f the developing hum an
kidney was first published by Korhonen and colleagues in 1990.7 Their results and those of subsequent studies are summarized below. It is worth m entioning that the availability o f new anti-integrin antibodies periodically results in revision of our knowledge o f integrin distribu tion in the kidney, as they may allow detection o f additional integrins, particulary in nonhu man tissues in which integrin expression could not previously be examined in detail.
