Syntheses o f RNA and DNA Sequences Containing Modified Nucleotides Commercial suppliers o f phosphoramidites have strongly focused on providing “nudeic-tools”,
i.e., nucleotides or analogues carrying artificial functional modifications. These nucleic-tools include applications in such different fields o f life sciences as therapeutics, mimicry o f natural processes, labeling, structural investigations and investigation o f damaged nucleotides.
