For example, early induction of the antisense form, miR-155* by TLR7 can positively influence type I IFN expression mediated through its ability to suppress the negative regulator, IRAKM. On the other hand, suppression of type I IFN expression was mediated by the later induction of miR-155 and its ability to repress TAB262.
