ABSTRACT

Training can be a very expensive proposition and, as mentioned earlier, the return on investment (ROI) is a factor to consider with any organization. Training for the sake of compliance will gain you at best a token support from management. From the employees’ viewpoint, they may feel that the training is solely to meet a regulatory requirement; so how much “real” support is there from the organization? Training for performance is a quantifiable en deavor and, if done properly, can benefit the employees and the organization.
