ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the most important aspects of Hex strategy in a nutshell. It is intended to give the reader a quick introduction to the game in order to facilitate good play as soon as possible. It may take a few games for the relevance of these ideas to crystallize, but after reading and understanding this material the reader should be able to play at a reasonable level.
