ABSTRACT

In this book methodologies have been described by which the primary endpoint was anticipated to take a Normal form, to be binary or to be ordinal. In clinical trials survival-type data are common primary endpoints if the trial is concerned with investigating the survival experience of the patients. Usually this survival experience is expressed in terms of survival status (e.g. alive or dead; recurred or recurrence free) and survival time (e.g. time to death; time to recurrence).
