ABSTRACT

Reconfigurable hardware has evolved to become Reconfigurable Systemon-Chips (RSoCs). Many modern reconfigurable hardware integrates generalpurpose processor cores, reconfigurable logic, memory, etc., on a single chip. This is driven by the advantages of programmable design solutions over application specific integrated circuits and a recent trend in integrating configurable logic (e.g., FPGA, and programmable processors), offering the “best of both worlds” on a single chip.
