ABSTRACT
As in the case of growth envelopes we first introduce the continuity envelope function EXC , derive some elementary properties, and discuss examples afterwards. In addition, we prove a certain lift property that will be essential in later applications. In the sequel we deal with [R, µ] = [Rn, `n] only and regard (quasi-) Banach spaces X of functions on Rn.
