ABSTRACT
In this final part of the book we focus on applications of the theory of equivalence relations to classification problems in mathematics. In these applications classification problems in mathematics are first identified as equivalence relations on standard Borel spaces. Then the exact complexity of each equivalence relation is determined by a comparison to some benchmark equivalence relation in the Borel reducibility hierarchy.
