ABSTRACT

In this chapter we present results established by Burd and Karakulin [1998].

The stability and asymptotic behavior of solutions of linear systems of differential equations

dx

dt = Ax + B(t)x,

where A is a constant matrix, and matrix B(t) is small in a certain sense when t →∞ has been studied by many researchers (see papers by Levinson [1948], Hartman and Wintner [1955], Fedoryuk [1966], Harris and Lutz [1974], [1977], and books by Bellman [1953], Rapoport [1954], Coddington and Levinson [1955], Naimark [1968], Cesari [1971], and Eastham [1989]).
