We shall assume that the functions X(t, x, ψ, ε) and Ψ(t, x, ψ, ε) are periodic in the phase ψ with the period 2π and periodic in the variable t with the period T = 2π/ν. System (15.1) contains one slow variable x and two fast variables ψ and t. The presence of the two fast variables substantially complicates the study of system (15.1) (see Morozov [1998]), since it is possible that the frequencies ω and ν are commensurable.
