ABSTRACT

Until now, we have dealt with different solutions of overdetermined systems of linear equations, in the L1 and in the Chebyshev norms. In this chapter, we deal with the solution of overdetermined systems of linear inequalities of the form

(16.1.1) Ca > 0

C is a given real N by M matrix, and the 0 is a zero N-vector, N > M. It is required to calculate the M-vector a that satisfies this inequality.
