ABSTRACT
This chapter presents the solution of ill-posed linear systems such as those arising from the discretization of Fredholm integral equation of the first kind.
Fredholm integral equation of the first kind arises in the mathematical analysis of many physics, chemistry and biology problems. It also arises in the restoration of blurred images [4, 5, 6] and in several classical mathematical problems, such as the numerical inversion of Laplace transform and many other problems [28, 30].
