UK diagnostic criteria for diabetes: ❏ Fasting plasma glucose (FPG): 7.0 mmol/l or
greater. ❏ Random plasma glucose: 11.1 mmol/l or
greater. ❏ Following an oral glucose tolerance test
(OGTT), 2 hours post 75 g glucose load: 11.1 mmol/l or greater.
